Content marketing gets easy for real estate agents

Sharing helpful information about listing, selling and buying property has become easy with the launch of a new content subscription platform for real estate agents.

Realcontent.guru is the brainchild of Kylie Davis, the former national editor of real estate at News Corp and head of real estate and content marketing at CoreLogic.

RealContent.guru delivers an extensive selection of articles written from the perspective of a property professional providing general advice to a client that can be used on websites, social media or email newsletters.

“Marketing and promoting yourself as an agent has changed dramatically over the past few years,” says Kylie, who now advises proptech startups and whose industry research makes her a sought after presenter.

“Now, it’s all about sharing information – being helpful and providing advice as a trusted professional that people curious about your service can connect with or find online.”

Many agents however don’t have the skills or struggle with finding the time to write with the regularity that’s required. Hiring journalists can be cost prohibitive while gig economy websites don’t have the property expertise required to deliver a quality product for the Australian market.

RealContent.guru solves these challenges with more than 100 stories currently available on hot topics such as preparing your home for sale, finding a mortgage, and tips and tricks to buying, selling, investing and renovating. New stories are added weekly, and the service is open to taking requests on topics.

Users can buy individual stories or subscribe to an all-you-can eat buffet giving them full access to the story library which is fully searchable and keeps a record of your downloads.

“We based the idea on the photo services like iStock and Shutterstock,” said Kylie. “They have a great selection, the ability to search, and once you’ve downloaded you can edit and use as needed.”

Just like the photo libraries, users of Realcontent.guru can use the stories as they come or edit with their own commentary and photos to ensure they have their own personal touch.

Kylie said the site would soon have over 150 stories loaded including property management and leasing articles, architecture and property styles.

Pricing starts from just $65 a month for access to four stories a month on a 12-month contract, with extensive access from $85 a month. The full list of stories can be seen at www.realcontent.guru.
