Colorful favorite
Chrysanthemums are a popular choice for fall color. They come in white, yellow, orange, lavender, purple and red. You can buy bi-color varieties, too.
Pale purples
The striking pale purples and pinks of the Echinacea Pallida, a flower of delicate cone shapes, can make your garden feel like summer is still with us. It flowers for up to 10 weeks, making it an excellent choice for those embarking on a campaign to sell their home.
Late bloomer
Toad lilies are similar to orchids and come in various colors, including purple, pink, and white. Their blooms will usually make it to the start of winter.
Daisy doppelganger
Asters have daisy-like flowers in various colors, including pink, purple, and blue. It blooms in late summer and continues into the fall.
