6 Instagram sites to inspire your renovations

Seeking inspiration to improve your home can become a fabulous preoccupation with countless websites, Instagram accounts, and old school magazines ready to encourage big and small projects.

Even as real estate agents we find home improvements compelling, and they often inform our views of how clients can upgrade their home to maximise its value before putting it on the market.

If you’re thinking of moving in the short to medium term and wondering how best to prepare your home for sale, you’ll be able to plunder some amazing ideas from Instagram, Pinterest, TV shows like The Block or  and magazines such as Better Homes & Gardens or Vogue Living.

Before you start spending money on a project, it’s worth speaking to your favourite real estate agent (we hope it is us!) to understand whether your ideas will give you a return on your investment. There’s no point in splashing the cash on a feature that may not impress buyers.

In the meantime, here are a few of our favourite Instagram accounts.
